Cardiff Violins are proud to exhibit the work of new violin and bow makers. Continuing the long tradition of violin and bow making, devoted, talented and enthusiastic makers apply their skills to create instruments and bows that will then be treasured by players for their sound, looks, and playability. Violin and bow making studies last usually three years, during which the students learn making and repairing. Experience built over years of making refines the makers' skills and contributes to constant improvements and changes in the result product.

There is a growing trend in buying new instruments, and nobody should discard them until they have tried them.

If you are looking for a new instrument or bow, please do call us on 0845 230 1812 to make an appointment.

If you are a new qualified maker, and would like to exhibit your work, please also do call us!
