Federico Falaschi Violin

From Federico Falaschi:

"The violin is inspired by the Ferdinado Garimberti model, an important Italian violin maker born in 1900. He was the pupil of Leandro Bisiach that, with Giuseppe Fiorini, started the second golden age of the Italian Lutherie studying and recovering models and methods of the classical tradition after a dark period.

The wood used is Val di Fiemme spruce for the top, with regular and defined grain.

For the back, sides and neck I used Balkan maple with regular and deep flame.

All the wood I used is seasoned for at least 20 years.

Fitted to facilitate comfortable and fast execution, based on knowledge garnered from attending several masterclasses with important experts on these matters, like Guy Rabut and Hans Nebel.

My work is intended to obtain a balance and intensity of sound; colour and warmth of the harmonics, without neglecting soft and elegant aesthetics."
